This product uses a 7.62x39 bolt which is provided as part of the package to be sure of proper headspacing. We have used these bolts in our personal projects for many years including the development of the original 6.5 PPC and of a 6.5 BR-R in the AR15.

Whenever replacing a bolt in any firearm, it is advisable to check headspace for safe proper operation.
